ZigZag Dress Cambridge Liberty
Well hello Miss Ziggy. Fresh, fun and free-flowing, this frock is another glowing example of our seamstress’s artistry. Everything exudes understated sophistication, beginning with the fabric, an unusual, lightblue cotton poplin with woven dot that is reversed for the contrasting pussycat neck bow. Beautiful puffed sleeves are sharpened up by painstakingly stitched zigzag cuffs, which are echoed in the pleated yoke to the front and back complete with sawtooth detail. It’s not all about straight lines though, with an adorable rounded collar and wafer-moon mother-of-pearl buttons running all the way down the back. Made with passion in London.

Hand-made Embroidery, Made in London
We pleat by hand, and develop our embroideries here, in London. Smocking was invented in England in the Middle Ages, and was often worn by labourers. This fine, hand-embroidery technique is back once again in the luxury market, and in recent years has mostly been developed overseas, due to the high costs.
We aim to recover this tradition, to hand craft this exquisite embroidery here, where this tradition began.
We believe that the process and the experience of designing and developing is part of the experience of luxury.
