The Moulin Roty "Le Jardin du Moulin" Sky Chart (also known as the Celestial Map or Mappa Celeste) is an interactive astronomy guide designed to teach children how to read the night sky.
Representing the "Explorer" branch of the nature-focused Le Jardin du Moulin collection, this tool combines antique, naturalist-style graphics with functional mechanics to introduce budding astronomers aged 6 and up to the cosmos.
- Interactive Time & Date Tracking: Features an adjustable, rotating wheel mechanism that allows children to match up the exact date and time of their observation to see a real-time replica of the visible constellations.
- True-to-Life Sky Stargazing: Designed to be held directly above the child's head while facing north; this alignment helps children locate and identify stars and celestial patterns in real time.
- European Latitude Optimization: Specially calibrated to give highly accurate astronomical readings for night skies located between 40° and 50° latitudes (ideal for areas like the UK, Metropolitan France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Quebec).

Hand-made Embroidery, Made in London
We pleat by hand, and develop our embroideries here, in London. Smocking was invented in England in the Middle Ages, and was often worn by labourers. This fine, hand-embroidery technique is back once again in the luxury market, and in recent years has mostly been developed overseas, due to the high costs.
We aim to recover this tradition, to hand craft this exquisite embroidery here, where this tradition began.
We believe that the process and the experience of designing and developing is part of the experience of luxury.
